Nancy Sinatra

Nancy Sinatra needs no further introduction. Of course, she shares the famous last name of a renowned singer— Frank Sinatra, who happens to be her father. Nancy is the firstborn child of the iconic crooner Frank to his wife, also named Nancy Sinatra. In case you forgot, The second-generation Sinatra singer is the voice behind the famous songs Somethin’ Stupid, You Only Live Twice, and These Boots are Made for Walkin’. Over time, Nancy initially enlisted herself in the music, dancing, and voice program at UCLA only to drop out after a year to resume her professional career.

In 1960, Nancy signed a record deal in Reprise Records and launched her single Cuff Links and a Tie Clip. Apparently, the song did not gain popularity, which led to her rebranding aided by Lee Hazelwood. Upon the release of These Boots are Made for Walkin’, Nancy gained much popularity to her credit. After years of hiatus, Nancy released a vinyl album that contains her duet with Lee Hazelwood in 2020. It was followed by Start Walkin’ 1965-1976 compilation released in February 2021.
