Jodie Foster is an award-winning actress and her accolades include two Academy Awards, three British Academy Film Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards. She started her acting career early at the age of 3. Her superb skills at such a young age helped her become a successful child and teen actress.

She later made an investment in formal education and attended college at Yale University. After that, she went back to acting and gained critical acclaim for her roles in The Accused and Silence of the Lambs. She married fellow actress and film director Alexandra Hedison in 2014, after dating for a year.
