DON ROOS & DAN BUCATINSKY

Don Roos once worked as a word processor to support himself. Until now, he continues to joke that he has that as a backup plan if he ever experiences difficulty in money management again. He is now a successful screenwriter and film director. He has a reputation in the industry for writing strong and engaging female characters.

He also incorporates this in his job as a director. Roos is married to Dan Bucatinsky, who is an actor, writer, and film producer. This couple first met each other years ago when Roos invited Bucatinsky to the premiere of the 1992 American drama Love Field. The two have been together since and they finally got married in 2008. The couple has two children, Eliza and Jonah.
