Denzel and Pauletta Washington – 45 YEARS

American actor-producer Denzel Washington is a Hollywood legend and has garnered several acting awards. Known for his strong principles and superb talent, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Fordham University, an honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Morehouse College, and an honorary Doctor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. The actor always praises his wife, Pauletta Pearson, for her strong support in all his endeavors.

They met in 1977 on the set of the television movie Wilma and they became a couple after a few dates. Denzel said in an interview that he had to ask her three times to marry him before she said yes and said she was worth it. Credits to Mr. Washington for never giving up!
